Production Log 4

What progress did you make since your previous entry?

The progress that I have made this week is that I had compleated the section section of pre-production paper work. We had also filmed our chase scene sections of our advert at brick lane. 

What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

The logistical challenges that we had faced on that day was the timing, and the communication between each other. As we had planned and agreed to film the scene, at 7 am at brick lane, as the area would be quite and less crowded at that time. What had happened is that the crew and cast, did not wake up at that time, as it was to early for them, what we had did is that we had re-planned the timing on the same day to be filmed at 7 pm at brick lane, as the sun would start to go down , and would allow us to get the perfect lighting and minimal crowd around us. We had changed the cast number of agents, as we had through that there we to many character in the advert, which would like it look messy, and due to the time we have for the advert which is 30 seconds we wont be able to introduce all of the characters.

What technical challenges did you face this week and how did you overcome them?

The technical challenges that we had faced this week was that, we had placed a memory card into the camera and it had said that the card was not able to read , as there was an error to the card. How we had overcome this technical challenge was that we had brought extra memory cards on the day of filming, just in case the memory card had got full. We had replaced the faulty memory card.

What targets do you aim to achieve before your next entry?

What I aim to achieve in my next entry is, film in our second location, where it would be at Ben's house, as we would want to film the beginning of the advert and also film the end of the advert.

What progress did you make since your previous entry?

What we had did this week was that we had compleated the rest of the paperwork of the advert as we had completed the a risk assessment, location reccie , storyboard and script.

What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

The logistical challenges that we had faced this week was that one of the paperwork that we doing was the storyboard, was completed but it was not able to upload to our blogger page for the advertisement, it it said that the image had and error on it, how we had resolved this was that the image file that we try to upload was a bmp file, what we had to do is that we had to upload the image and convert the file to jpeg in-order to upload it to blogger.

What technical challenges did you face this week and how did you overcome them?

We had not faced any technical challenges this week as we had everything in-order and organised, the only challenge we had was the image file for the storyboard but it was over come by converting the file.

What targets do you aim to achieve before your next entry?

The target that I have aim to do next week is to, go out and film the actions sequences of the terry's chocolate orange advert, and to create a set order of shoots to crate on location of filming, we will be filming this sections at Brick lane that we had initially decided to do. We then  want to potentially  film the beginning and ending of the advert in that week on the second location of Ben's house, but however we have two other spare days for potentially to film at.

What progress did you make since your previous entry?

The progression that we have made this week was that we had completed half our other paper work for the adverts, we had completed the Crew, cast , production scheduled and prop list. For the cast we had gone to potential actors that were willing to act for us in the advert. for the production scheduled we had made a group chat and asked each other when there where available to film and when the location would be free.

What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

The challenges that we had faced this week was the accesses of actors and if there where available, the potential actors who we wanted to get went on holiday, because it was half term coming by and that was the time that we thought everyone would be free to film , how we had resolved this is that we had asked people that we through would have the ability to do the advert.

What technical challenges did you face this week and how did you overcome them?

The technical challenges that we have faced this week was that the paperwork that we had to do this advert for were set from a home computer, when downloading the file , it came up with a download error, how we overcame this idea was that we had viewed the file on the PowerPoint online viewer and how copy and past the content that we had did on to the file on our school serviced computer.

What targets do you aim to achieve before your next entry?

The target for my next entry , is that we want to complete the rest of our paper work for the advert, and to prepare our-self of the shoots that we would want to at the location when filming the advert.

Production Log 1

What progress did you make since your previous entry?

Due to this being the first entry of the production of the advert we, have not had a previous entry. What we had did this week was that I had presented the advert idea in a pitch in class.

What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

The logistical challenges that we had faced was that our presentation , had not been up to stander due to us not knowing the presentation outline clearly, how we had resolved this is that we had learnt and took into the account of the presentation outline and re-presented it and had a great success with it. This allowed us to get a better understander of our advert idea of what it should and should not include.

What technical challenges did you face this week and how did you overcome them?

The technically challenges that we had faced during this week was that some of the links that we had placed on the presentations was not accessible on the school services and there had block some of the video that we had used. How we over came this problem is that we had removed the existing copy and try to find the same video up black or another video that would represent the same inspiration

What targets do you aim to achieve before your next entry?

The target that I have for next week is that I would like to start the pre- production paper work, of the advert which is the the cast and crew list, location reccie, health and safety, prop list , budget and production scheduled.
